That means a lot of logical questions like why Uncle Marcus is just in his home and not a hospital, or why Abby, who seemingly has no qualifications as a detective, is being recruited to solve this instead of an actual detective, aren’t going to be addressed. Filmed during the pandemic, this FMV game was clearly designed for the actors to shoot in their own respective homes. You’ll need to accept early on that the story of Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus? doesn’t make a lot of sense. If she can figure things out in time, Uncle Marcus can take the antidote and survive. Abby missed the meeting, though, so she’s the only person he can trust. Without figuring out what poison was used, and hopefully who poisoned Uncle Marcus, he’s done for. Doctors have determined definitively that it must have happened there, and only the six people you’re about to meet for virtual trivia night could have done it. It turns out he was recently poisoned at the family’s annual meeting. Abby is just getting ready for her family’s annual trivia night in honor of her mom’s birthday when Uncle Marcus calls. I talked to my favorite uncle just a few weeks ago, and while helpful in figuring out what was wrong with my car, it didn’t lead to a highly entertaining murder mystery. Getting a phone call from your favorite uncle usually isn’t as exciting as Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus? would make you think. I have been shooting since I was little but have decided to carry so after looking around this one struck me so I had to have it.Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus? Review: A Shocking Call It is natural silver finish with checkered wood grips and looks identical to the picture of the blued revolver the other fella posted. In one place the 2 of the model number is stamped with a much smaller stamp Inside where others have the model number it has 39237 N in two places it also has a faint D and also an N stamp that is randomly above the model stamp.
It doesn't say airweight on the barrel but the barrel is a snub at just over an inch. I believe from what I can find out on line that it is an early model 37 Airweight. I just picked one up recently and have been trying to research it. Im new to forums and not completely computer literate. Im new here and this is SUCH a great help. Hey I'm glad to see others sharing info about these.
A story about my uncle mods serial number#
Hey I just purchased a model 37 serial number 113042 Hollow point ammo is pretty expensive, and used mostly for self defense/personal protection ammo.
A story about my uncle mods full#
Usually a cylinder full of jacketed ammo will do the trick. If you like shooting lead bullets, the trick is to shoot some FMJ ammo at the end of the range session to clear out most of the lead buildup.
Lead bullets will build up in the barrel faster and require more barrel maintenance.
You can shoot either solid lead bullets (Wad Cutters or Semi-Wad Cutters), jacketed bullets (FMJ) or Jacketed Hollow Point ammo (JHP). I have 3 or 4 snubbies, and they're some of my favorites at the range, and certainly the best guns for personal carry and protection. The FBI trained their troop to shoot the snubbies at 50 yds onto a standard silhouette. These little gems can easily compete at 25 yds, with some practice on good gun handling. It should impact the target (Point of Impact-POI) almost exactly where you aim (Point of Aim-POA).ĭon't let anybody try to convince you that they're not any good beyond a few feet. The 37 like most of the J frame 38's were built to fire the 158 grain bullet. The model 37 is a very well handling revolver (Wheelgun) if you stick with the ammo it was really designed to shoot. I'm glad you joined and hope you stick around to share your knowledge and ask a few questions. like i said before, there are evidently large serial number ranges that can be a little "displaced", and parts changes (like the latch style) didn't always end/begin surgically! a call to the factory, or a letter would let you know for sure, but i will estimate 1964.Īnyway! welcome to the forum, and welcome to the madness!!! they truly are addictive! i have seen chiefs (especially steel chiefs) in the 4XXXXX range that evidently came after the latch was changed to the modern sculpted style, and i have seen lots of flatlatches in the 4XXXXX range. i'd say your gun has both, and is probably from 64 or 65. if i could ask a question or two: does it have a flatlatch? diamond grips numbered to it? can you post a pic? the flat latch went away in 66, and the diamond grips went away in 68. could possibly be 60, or maybe even 62, but i would make the estimate of sometime in 61. I apologize for my manners! i got a little excited! anyway, welcome to the new folks!!! the 232000 gun is likely from 1961.
